We’re leaving today!!!

Sing it with me now …

“New York, New York!!!”

Can’t wait!!!  I LOVE Christmas in New York.  LOVE it!

We are taking Caroline and we are so excited.  She has wanted to go for years and now is her chance.  Bill is in meetings Wed-Friday so we figured two free hotel nights! so we are flying in tonight and joining him.

We’ll sight see Thursday and Friday just the two of us and then Saturday and Sunday Bill will join us.  I think it is going to be so neat to see her face when she sees NEW YORK CITY.  It’s amazing, it makes your heart pump a little faster (mine anyway) and it’s a city that was just made for Christmas time!

And I’ll tell you all about it when I get back.

I can’t wait to hear about it! How wonderful for Caroline! She will love it. You’re right, New York is MADE for Christmas. Don’t forget to go ice skating!

Oh my gosh. Have SO much fun!! Go to a show, eat at Serendipity, have a slice of cheesecake.

I’m hoping to go next December. My parents are taking my sister for a college graduation gift. Stephen and I are going to tag along if we can save enough cash - and assuming I’m not severely pregnant. (Please God, lets be on the same page for this one!)

Darla!!!!

First off, I hope you have an amazing time in New York…I’ve never been, but my friend Molly goes quite frequently and is constantly bringing me back awesome jewelry and clothing from the trendiest places. Love it!!

Secondly, I just read through your other posts and cannot believe you guys have an Elf on the Shelf too!!! Corbin named ours Fred since that was one of the names written in the book and sounded much more dignified than “Ack” or “Gurblot” (what was up with those names they spouted?!?). We’ve had a few nights when Fred has mysteriously remained in the same spot, and luckily for me they’ve been nights when we’ve had REALLY chilly weather or really bad thunderstorms. I didn’t think that Corbin would take to it as much as he has, but it’s very cute seeing him come out each morning and look around for where he might be :) Anyway, yaaay! A fellow Elf sister :) :) :)
